The TUR Apron System should be installed after preparations
are made for commencing the procedure, including draping the patient.
The patient should be well down on the table with the
buttocks slightly overhanging.
The apron should be secured snugly between the table
uprights against the patient's buttocks.
The neck ties should be attached loosely around the
surgeon's neck to allow maximum freedom of movement. The bib of the apron
should be at least six inches below the surgeon's chin when in the extended
position while emptying the patient's bladder.
The discharge hose can be used with either a collection vessel or floor drain.
